Housing transition and inclusion for citizens with a migrant background
Online capacity building programme
On the 4th of May 2023, we will kick off the online programme “Capacity building on transition and housing inclusion for citizens with migration background“, the online training course realised with the support of Sociolab – Impresa e Cooperativa Sociale. The course will be held in Italian, is completely free of charge and will be divided into 6 appointments: from the 4th of May and end on the 8th of June.
The series of meetings is the result of a listening and involvement activity carried out in the past years by the project partner ANCI Toscana, which has involved several territories in Tuscany, and is designed to share information and consolidate knowledge that will make it possible to implement innovative solutions to meet the housing needs of citizens in vulnerable situations, in particular people with a migration background who do not – or no longer – have the right to first- and second-level reception services.
The programme, designed by ANCI Toscana on a needs assessment involved several territories in Tuscany in the recent years, aims to share information and consolidate knowledge with a view to implement innovative solutions to meet the housing needs of citizens in vulnerable situations, in particular people with a migration background who do not – or no longer – have the right to first- and second-level reception services.
Who is the training course addressed to?
The training course is free of charge and is addressed to representatives of public bodies and/or the third sector and/or associations involved in the housing issue.
What are the training objectives?
The training pathway is intended to strengthen the skills of actors operating in territorial networks, with the aim of maximising the scalability and replicability of projects implemented in experimental contexts. The interactive approach of the course will favour comparison and exchange between actors pursuing the same objectives in different territories, thus enabling them to share tools, problems and solutions.
How is the training course organised?
The course will start on the 4th of May and end on the 8th of June. It consists of 6 free online meetings, every Thursday from 3 to 6 pm.
Each meeting entails a “lecture” moment with contributions by national experts who will present studies, experiences and practices, and a more “operational” session in which participants will interact to co-construct a collaborative manual of social living.
The meetings will be coordinated by the facilitators of Sociolab – Impresa e Cooperativa Sociale.
